This week we did all sorts on fun things. Mr. Finley was only in school for three days. He got sick ): We are contining to learn about atronamy. One of our questions was when does the moon revolve around the earth? The ansert was the earth's atmosphere pulls the moon and then revolves/ rotates around. I learned that a force can cause a change in speed and direction. We did activities while mr. finley was gone. We were suppose to complete lessons 10.2- 11.1.
When he came back we learned that say you have two completely different amount of mass objects, they will drop at the same time. We did an experiment with a marker, and mr finley. They both hit the ground at the same exact time. Something also we learned that is if you did an experiment with a piece of paper, and marker they wouldnt drop at the same time. The reason for this is that the earth is pushing for the paper to go on the ground, and the air is pushing the paper to stay. That is why it takes longer for the paper to touch the ground rather than a marker. This is a picture of a force diagram which i just explained about the force of air and force of earth, with a piece of paper as the object.
