On friday we did an experiment with hydracloric acid, and chalk.Our experiment was to see if erosion was affected by natural causes. My hypothesis was i didnt think that there was going to be chemicals. When we did the experiment the chalk was put intolitle holders, and 2 half chalk pieces. We broke them up to see if it would make a difference. We did a one half of chalk, then split the other ahfl into three parts. When Mr. Finely poured the hydracloric acid in the little folders. All the chalks reacted to the chemcial the same way. They all fizzed, and gas rose above. My hypotesis was wrong. Erosion is caused by chemicals too.
